Views around Great Torrington

The countryside around Great Torrington is lovely, and the town’s situation at the top of a hill makes for some stunning views. Much of the land around the town belongs to it: over 300 acres were made common land in the 12th century and have been preserved as such ever since. Click on any image to see a bigger picture.
